Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association Award

This classic Queen Ann storefront with upper apartment had fallen into serious disrepair. Alward Construction was hired to rebuild all the missing and damaged wood details as well as reverse earlier modifications to the building that were inconsistent with its core architecture. Antique decorative tile was used to present the storefront windows, which showcase fresh vegetables and fruits.
